DAY 1 Arrive at Mysore

Arrive at Mysore and check in at the hotel. After lunch visit the Mysore Palace. Later take a drive to Chamundi Hills and pay your obeisance to goddess Chamundi. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. DAY 2 Mysore to Coorg (2 hr 30 min, 110 km)

After breakfast, drive to Coorg. Arrive and check into the hotel. Arrive at Coorg early morning and check into the hotel. After lunch visit the Golden Temple and the Buddhist settlement at Bylekuppe. Thereafter visit Kaveri Nisargadhama, a small island created by the split of the Kaveri River. There is an Ecological Park, a deer Park, a small snack house and even facilities for boating. DAY 3 Madikeri Sightseeing

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Madikeri and visit Omkareshwara Temple. This temple is an amazing mix of Catholic, Gothic and Islamic architecture. Drive to Abbi Falls, which is about 7 kms from Madikeri. Culminate your trip with a visit to Raja’s Seat at Mercara. This is a garden of seasonal flowers and was the favorite of the Kings of Kodagu.
