Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive at Jaipur / Sightseeing
Arrive at Jaipur and check into the hotel. Go for a sightseeing trip of Amberfort with Elephant Ride. Enjoy the sights of the Shish Mahal, Hall of public audiences and Maharaja Man Singh’s Palace, Amber Palace and Nahargarh Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, take a sightseeing trip of the imposing City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amer Palace, Jantar Mantar and the Jai Garh fort and Chokhi Dani. Evening at leisure. Shopping at the famous government emporiums for handicrafts items or tie and dye textiles. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 Jaipur to Pushkar (2 hrs 30 min, 145 km)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Pushkar. Visit various temples and Ghats and holy Pushkar Lake. There are more than 400 hundred temples in Pushkar but the main attraction is the temple of Lord Brahma, the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. Later explore the colourful bazaar. Overnight at Pushkar.
DAY 4 Pushkar to Udaipur (6 hrs, 280 km)
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur. Arrive and check into the hotel. Udaipur is famous as the lake city of India. Visit Lake Palace, Jagamandir Island and Vintage Car Museum. Afternoon visit Shilpgram, and view the sunset at Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh). Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast move out to a sightseeing tour of the city which includes visit to the City Palace (note the trees growing at the top floor of the palace, which is actually the summit of the hill the palace is covering), Visit the Jagdish temple,Saheliyon ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum).
DAY 6 Depart from Udaipur
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Depart from Udaipur to onward destination.
