Kuchaman a city in district of Rajasthan is well known for its Shekhavati style Havelis that have been well preserved and still display the same artwork today. The city has been a hub of activities with a congregation of religious places, market and historical monuments. Founded in 1781 AD by Thakur Zalim Singh, Kuchaman remains detached from the modern world providing itself and its inhabitants the old Rajasthani look and feel. Not to be confused as backward, the Kuchaman populace has made conscious efforts to maintain their culture and preserve the heritage passed on by the predecessors. Hence, it is possible to observe old Rajasthan along with its full colours and zest. Kuchaman celebrates many of the religious festivals with much enthusiasm and fervor. October to February is very pleasant to visit this place.

By BUS : State buses of Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation connect Kuchaman to all cities in Rajasthan. Buses connecting to Bikaner (115 km), Jaipur (145 km), Jodhpur (250 km), Ajmer (90 km) and Delhi (440 km) are available daily and at regular intervals from Kuchaman.
