The enclosure is later but the temple itself has a multi storey tower which is more like a pyramid than a spire. Barda Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is distributed in two districts that is Porbandar and Jamnagar. It is covered the area of 192.31 sq. km. The place of Barda is almost hilly and undulating with an altitude ranging from 79.2 m to 617.8 m. above sea level. The Sanctuary area is a green oasis, surrounded by agriculture fields, wastelands and forest. area is a green oasis, surrounded by agriculture fields, wastelands and forest.The hilly terrain with patches of flat plains at places, the crisscrossing of numerous rivulets and streams and existing dams impart a divine look to the forest. One may hardly abstain from thinking that here is the place, where the saints in ancient times must have attained ‘moksha’, the ultimate liberation. At places, there are gentle slopes with exposed rocks. Bileshvary and Joghri are the two main ephemeral rivers. Khambala and Fodara are important dams in the Sanctuary.

Toonks of Girnar Hill is famous for the five tonks and the Ashoka Rock Edict. Five tonks of Girnar Hills are explained below :
First Tonk: After climb of about 2 miles, there is a Digamabar Jain temple and a cave called Rajulmati cave, it is stated that Rajulmati has done penanace and tap at this place. There is also a small temple where idol of Bhagwan Bahubali (120 cms) in standing posture is installed. Besides there are footprints of Kundkund Acharaya. In the temple, the idol of Bhagwan Neminath (Vikram 1924) is on the main Vedi. The idols of Parsvanath and Neminath are also there. There is stream called gomukhi ganga and nearby the footprints of 24 tirthanakaras are available.
Second Tonk: After 900 steps the footprints of Muni Anirudhhkumat and temple of Devi Ambika.
Third Tonk: Here the footprints of Muni Sambukkumar are installed. Muni has attained nirvana from this place.
Fourth tonk: Here the footprints of pradhyman kumar-son of lord krishna are installed here. He attained nirvana from this place.
Fifth tonk: The footprints of Bhagwan Neminath are installed here. There is an idol of Bhagwan neminath on this tonk.

Mallinath Temple is a beautiful Jain temple and strong attraction. The temple has a blue idol of Lord Mallinath. Mallinath Temple in Girnar is also flanked by another famous temple named Neminath. It is an abode of Hindu as well as Jain religions. The yearly Bhavnath fair devoted to Hindu Lord Shiva pulls thousands of people.

Mallinath Temple was built by the brothers Vastupal and Tejapala who also founded temples in Mount Abu and Shatrunjaya. It is believed the famous 22nd tirthankara Neminath have died on Mount Girnar after 700 years of meditation and asceticism is depicted as a black figure sitting in the lotus position holding a conch in the marble Neminath Temple which is situated just opposite to the famous Mallinath temple.

Lord Neminath temple is considered to be one of the oldest temples in the world dating back to around 84785 years. It is also one of the largest temples dedicated to Lord Neminath, the 22nd Jain Tirthankar. The followers of Jainism believe that Lord Neminath became a yogi after he saw animals being slaughtered for food in his wedding. Soon after that he decided to leave all the worldly affairs and came to Girnar. It was here that after a lot of difficulty and hardships, he attained enlightenment. Lord Neminath died at Mount Girnar after 700 years of meditation. The temple is rectangular in shape beholding the idol of Lord Neminath made out of black granite with jewelled eyes, sitting in the lotus posture.
