Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive at Mount Abu
Arrive at Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan, which is also an important Jain pilgrimage center in India. Check into the hotel. Later visit the famous 11th century Dilwara Jain temple complex. Enjoy a cruise through Nakki Lake at sunset, starting from the Sunset Point. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 Mount Abu Sightseeing
After breakfast, go for sightseeing and visit the historical Achalgarh fort, built in the 14th century by Rana Kumbha of Mewar, and a shrine to Dattatreya built atop the Guru Shikhar peak. The world headquarters of the Brahma Kumari order of lady renunciates is also located here. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 Mount Abu to Udaipur (4 hrs, 181 km)
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur. Arrive and check into the hotel. Udaipur is famous as the lake city of India. Visit Lake Palace, Jagamandir Island and Vintage Car Museum. Afternoon visit Shilpgram, and view the sunset at Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh). Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 Depart from Udaipur
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Depart from Udaipur to onward destination.
