North Branch could be a town in Chisago County, Minnesota, u. S., settled at the junction of interstate thirty five and Minnesota expressway ninety five. It’s named for the north branch of the Sunrise River, that flows through the town. The administrative district later incorporated because the village of Branch in 1961. The 2 cities talked a few potential merger for years, beginning within the late Nineteen Seventies. The primary public vote on the difficulty was control in 1984, and it failing. A second vote was remained September thirteen, 1994 and passed. The 2 cities formally united on Nov fourteen, 1994.
