The Joseph P. Addabbo Memorial Bridge (formerly the strait Bridge) settled within the ny town borough of Queens, may be a bridge that runs south from Howard Beach, crosses the grass-covered Bay portion of Jamaica Bay to Broad Channel. The bridge is called for the late Joseph P. Addabbo, United Nations agency portrayed the realm within the us House of Representatives from 1961 to 1986.The bridge was designed aboard the strait Bridge as a replacement; an absence of maintenance on the recent bridge had allowed it to deteriorate to the purpose wherever it had been on the far side repair. The Joseph P. Addabbo Memorial Bridge is owned and operated by the ny town Department of Transportation.
