Bondgaon, one of the small villages of the district is situated on the banks of river Chulband of the Sakoli tehsil in Bhandara. The village is famous for its fair that is held on Chaitra-Paurnima every year. The fair is organised by the villagers for paying tribute to Gangajumna Devi, who is believed to be the constructor of the tank present in the village. The residents of the villages and of adjoining areas depend on this tank for the supply of potable drinking water.
Furthermore, another fair named Ashvin Shudha is also organised in the village, which brings celebrations that last for fifteen days. The village houses a veterinary aid centre, an Ayurvedic dispensary, a post office and a high school.
