Akutan may be a town in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska, u. S.. In step with the U.S. Authority, the town includes a total space of eighteen.9 sq. Miles (49 sq. Kilometers), of which, 14.0 sq. Miles (36 sq. Kilometers) of it’s land and four.9 sq. Miles (13 sq. Kilometers) of it (25.69%) is water. Akutan is found on Akutan Island within the japanese Aleutians, one amongst the Krenitzin Islands within the Fox Islands cluster. It’s thirty five miles (56 km) east of Unalaska, and 766 miles (1,233 km) southwest of Anchorage.
