Sainte-Martine may be a municipality of Quebec, set within the Beauharnois-Salaberry Regional County Municipality within the Monteregie body region. The population as of the Canada 2006 Census was four,237. The municipality is formed of an outsized northern section and atiny low unattached southern space that was referred to as the municipality of Saint-Paul-de-Châteauguay till its merger with Sainte-Martine in 2000.
