Nenahnezad may be a census-designated place (CDP) in city County, New Mexico, u. S.. The population was 726 at the 2000 census. The Navajo name interprets as “Long Upgrade”. Nenahnezad may be a Chapter community simply to the south of Fruitland, between the cities of Farmington and Shiprock. It’s a part of the Farmington Metropolitan applied mathematics space.
According to the u. S. Bureau, the CDP incorporates a total space of three.6 sq. Miles (9.3 km2), of which, 3.5 sq. Miles (9.1 km2) of it’s land and zero.1 sq. Miles (0.26 km2) of it (2.22%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there have been 726 individuals, 193 households, and 154 families residing within the CDP. The population density was 205.6 individuals per area unit (79.4/km²). There have been 231 housing units at a median density of sixty five.4 per area unit (25.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was zero.69% White, 97.52% Native yankee, 0.14% Asian, 0.14% from different races, and 1.52% from 2 or additional races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were one.93% of the population.
