Ziarat Peer Mitha is located at the heart of the city of Jammu, Ziarat Peer Mitha is one of the most prominent Muslim shrines. Commonly referred as Peer Mitha, is a magnificent tomb along with a mosque. The twin structure of mosque and tomb represents the imposing Mughal style of architecture. Thousands of people irrespective of religion throng the shrine to pay homage to Baba Ziarat. Later, Ziarat became popular as Peer Mitha as he accepted a pinch of sugar as the offerings from his followers. Besides having architectural grandeur and aesthetic appeal, the shrine also overlooked a beautiful landscape of nature, making it a perfect place to unwind.
