The Zacatal Bridge (Puente El Zacatal) is found southwest of Ciudad del Carmen, within the state of metropolis in Mexico. It connects the Atasta solid ground and therefore the Isla del Carmen.
This is the longest bridge within the state and at the time of gap the longest in Latin America, with a length of three,861 m and a breadth of nine.00 m. It’s a multilane road bridge for the Federal route one hundred eighty. It’s one amongst the busiest within the country since it’s the entree to the Yucatán solid ground.
The structure consists entirely of ready-made components to base being: 121 heads of formed concrete, 496 sort IV girders Aastha amended and eight box girders well as 124 post-tensioned concrete slabs. It had been completed in October 1994.
