Ypané is a town in the Central Department of Paraguay, 27 km from Asunción. It is communicated by Routes 1 and 2. It is called the “Garden City”. It was founded March 23, 1538 by the Governor Spanish Domingo Martínez de Irala.Its main activities are trade and industry.The campus of San Pedro Apòstol’s Square, we find a beautiful work of art.
The city of Ypané has tourist attractions such as the former San Pedro Apóstol Church, built by the Indians of the reduction under the direction of the Franciscan Fathers, in times of colonization americas. It is located in the heart of the city. The high altar is a national and universal heritage.Another attractive place is the monument of the protector of love “Valentine”, located in the center of the hollow of a tree ancient St. Peter’s Square Apostle.
