Yécora could be a community, and its encompassing municipality of a similar name, within the Mexican state of genus Sonora. The city is deckle-edged on the east by the state of Chihuahua, to the north by the municipalities of Sahuaripa and Southeast Rosario, to the west by the municipality Suaqui Grande, and therefore the northwest by the municipality of Onavas. The municipality control this name till August twenty eight, 1916 once Governor of genus Sonora Adolfo American state la Huerta modified the town’s name to Yécora.
