Wurtsboro may be a village set on U.S. Route 209 within the city of Mamakating in Sullivan County, New York, us, close to its junction with ny State Route seventeen (which is being upgraded to interstate standards and can be renumbered as interstate 86). At the flip of the twentieth century, Wurtsboro became fashionable many first-generation German and Russian immigrants from ny City, interested in the world by its stiffness, and its similitude to the high mountain villages within the countries from that they originated. They came up from town by train. Remnants of the previous tracks and a reconditioned terminal will still be seen within the village.
