Detail InformationEdit

Prior to June 2011, the planet Trade Center of latest Orleans was housed within the historic World Trade Center Building, settled at a pair of Canal Street within the Central downtown of latest Orleans, Louisiana. The building, that could be a 33-story, 407 feet (124 m)-tall building, has since been purchased by town of latest Orleans. The building was erstwhile referred to as the “ITM Building”, i.e., the International Trade retail store, and was made to a style by Edward Durell Stone. In its period of time, the planet Trade Center building housed various foreign consulates and also the headquarters for the Port of latest Orleans.
The top floor hosted a bar referred to as “Top of the Mart” from the Seventies through 2001. The bar slowly turned once per hour. After this, a bar referred to as “360” (as in degrees) opened in its place, that remained till cyclone Katrina in 2005, and had since re-opened. 360 is presently closed. Town of latest Orleans presently owns the property that has been vacant since March 2010, and is considering razing the landmark. But any improvement plans would need early termination of this lease with the planet Trade Center Organization.
