Craven E. Williams Observatory is associate astronomical observatory in hand and operated by Gardner-Webb University. In-built 1990 and named for the ninth president of the university, it’s settled in Boiling Springs, North geographic area (USA). Among its instruments, the observatory options a sixteen in (41 cm) Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.The observatory is home to the Cleveland County Astronomical Society, and additionally holds monthly open homes for the community. Dr. Don Olive, a self-proclaimed physicist and prof of science at the university maintains and opens the observatory to the field and community now and again.
