White Post is AN unorganized city in Clarke County, Virginia, USA. White Post is found at the crossroads of White Post and Berrys Ferry Roads off Lord Fairfax road (U.S. Route 340). within the 1730s, Thomas Fairfax, sixth Lord Fairfax of Cameron (16931781), the foremost owner within the lower Shenandoah Valley through AN inheritance from his mother Catherine Culpeper, girl Fairfax, settled here and engineered his “Greenway Court” manor home. His plantation was uncommon in a vicinity settled principally by ethnic German and Scots-Irish subsistence farmers, several of them recent immigrants.
