Wheaton is associate unorganised, urban space in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, north of Washington, D.C., northwest of Silver Spring. Wheaton takes its name from Frank Wheaton (1833-1903), a career officer within the u. s. Army and volunteer from Rhode Island within the blue UN agency rose to the rank of general officer whereas serving before, during, and once the yank war.Wheaton is home to the Wheaton Regional Park, which incorporates a nature center; riding stables; dog park; a parcel with carousel associated miniature train; an athletic complicated with court game bubble, ice rink, in-line rink, and ball fields; and Brookside Gardens, Montgomery County’s triumph 50-acre (200,000 meter square) public show garden.
