West Nyack may be a hamlet (and census-designated place) within the city of Clarkstown Rockland County, New York, u. S. Placed north of Central Nyack; east of Nanuet; south of natural depression house and west of higher Nyack. It’s just about eighteen miles north of recent dynasty town. In 1847, the hamlet was named Clarksville, renamed MontMoor and since 1891 has been referred to as West Nyack.
