West Chicago may be a city in DuPage County, Illinois, u. S.. It had been once named Turner Junction once its founder, John B. Turner, president of the mineral and Chicago Union Railroad (G&CU) in 1855. The city was at at the start established around the initial junction of railroad lines in Illinois, and these days continues to be served by the Union Pacific/West Metra service via West Chicago station. According the u. S. Agency, the city encompasses a complete area of 13.8 sq. Miles (36km2), all of it land.
