Wentworth could be a city in Grafton County, New Hampshire, us. The population was 911 at the 2010 census. The city is home to Plummer’s ridge Natural space, and a part of the White Mountain National Forest is within the northeast. The city features a picturesque common, presided over by a Federal vogue church and lined by antique homes. It had been granted by Governor Benning Wentworth on Allhallows, 1766 to John Page and sixty others. Named for the governor himself, Wentworth was settled and incorporated an equivalent year. Several of the settlers arrived from Massachusetts, significantly Salisbury. With a reasonably New England common set atop associate degree elevated tongue of land, the village has been noted since the 19th-century for its charm; whereas in “… Beauties of landscape, Wentworth features a quite standard share.” Wentworth Common.
