Waynesville could be a village in Wayne town, Warren County, Ohio, u. S.. As of the 2000 census, the village population was two,558, up from 1,949 in 1990. It’s named for General “Mad” Wayne. The village, placed at the crossroads of U.S. Route forty two and State Route seventy three, is thought for its antique stores and its annual dish competition. Caesar Creek State Park is found 5 miles east of the village. Waynesville is served by the female parent L. Cook library. In 2005, the library loaned over 203,000 things to its eight,000 cardholders. Total holdings in 2005 were over sixty seven,000 volumes with over a hundred and ten periodical subscriptions. Additionally the community is served by WYNS-FM, a powerless community station that conjointly streams on the net.
