The Wayne County Building may be a lowrise government structure in port, Michigan. It stands at 600 Randolph Street, and erst contained the Wayne County body offices and its courthouse. This body offices square measure set within the Guardian Building at five hundred Griswold Street. The Wayne County building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
Detroit designer John Scott designed the building that stands five floors. Created from 1897 to 1902, it should be the nation’s finest living example of Roman Baroque design, with a mix of Beaux-Arts and a few components of the neo-classical type of architecture.
