Washburn may be a town in McLean County, ND within the u. s.. it’s the seat of McLean County. The population was one,246 at the 2010 census. Washburn was based in 1882 and have become the seat in 1883. Washburn is home to the ND Lewis and Clark instructive Center that focuses on the Expedition’s winter with the Mandans and homes a complete replication of Fort Mandan and one amongst the expedition’s canoes.
