Wallonia is the predominantly French-speaking south-eastern part of Belgium. The capital of this region is Namur and it shares a border with France, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Germany. This region consists of five provinces Walloon Brabant, Hainaut, Namur, Liège and Belgian Luxembourg. There are hundreds of castles in the Wallonia region, offering a wide range of styles and are prime tourist attractions. The Ancient Castle of Chievres in Hainaut, Castle Of Bois-Le-Compte in Buvrinnes and Castle Of Trazegnies in Trazegnies are some of the popular ones. Wallonia is characterized by hilly landscapes, plunging valleys, primal Ardennes forests, which, in the ancient times, sheltered Great War lords and hunters, druids, preachers and fairies.
