Wallisellen is a municipality in the district of Bulach in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley. The first settlement at Wallisellen dates from 58 BC. Wallisellen has an area of 6.5 km2 (2.5 sq mi). Of this area, 23.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 20.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 54.5% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.5%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
