Waddinxveen is a town and municipality along the Gouwe river in the western Netherlands in the province of South Holland near Gouda. The municipality had a population of 26,304 in 2004, 25.328 on new year’s eve of 2010. and covers an area of 29.39 square kilometers (of which 1.52 square kilometers is water).
