Villa Jaragua may be a town and a municipality within the Baoruco province of the country, near the Lake Enriquillo. The city was called Barbacoa however Trujillo named it as Villa Trujillo Valdéz once his father. In 1961, its name was modified to this one, Villa Jaragua.
