Detail InformationEdit

The presumably first Chapel in the hamlet of Paznaun is consegrated to the 14 auxiliary saints. It dates back to the year 1675 and was initially located in the immediate vicinity of the Trisanna. The old chapel was damaged by a flood in 1762 and destroyed by another flood in 1764. The area of the former chapel was not considered to be safe and so in 1765 the new chapel was built up on the place where has been ever since. The main altar shows a painting portraying the Virgin Mary and the 14 auxiliary saints.
