Detail InformationEdit

The Santa Iphigenia Viaduct is a viaduct located in downtown São Paulo , with exclusive use for pedestrians. Starts at Largo São Bento and ends in front of the Church of Santa Iphigenia. Its structure was fully manufactured in Belgium, inaugurated on September 26, 1913, by Mayor Raimundo Duprat. Currently, the viaduct is one of the main links of the highest points in downtown Sao Paulo, passing over the Valley Anhangabaú and Prestes Maia Avenue. There are thousands of people walking every day, especially at rush hour. Its architectural style is Art Nouveau. Today the Viaduct Santa Iphigenia appears on many postcards of the city of São Paulo.
