Veresegyház is a town in Pest county, Hungary.The town lies in Gödöllő-Hills near the Cserhát, in the south with Mogyoród hornbeam and the Foth Somlyó csomádi high hill, in the east and north with the Margita, and is surrounded by the Old Man Mountain. From Veresegyház in the north-west there are the őrbottyáni Őrhegy and the váchartyáni hill can be seen. The nearest neighbour is Szada.
