Vance is a city in Bibb and town Counties in the U.S. State of Alabama, just outside of the city of Tuscaloosa. It is most renowned for the Mercedes-Benz plant, presently the sole one in North America. The current politician of Vance is Keith Mahaffey.The town County portion of Vance is an element of the town Metropolitan applied math space, whereas the Bibb County portion is an element of the Birmingham–Hoover Metropolitan applied math space.According to the U.S. Authority, the city features a total space of eight.2 sq. Miles (21 sq. Kilometer), all of it land.
