The Protestant denomination in Charleston, home to a Unitarian religious doctrine congregation, is associate historic church set at four Archdale Street in Charleston, South geographic area. It’s “the oldest Protestant denomination within the South” and could be a National Historic Landmark. It’s the second oldest church in downtown Charleston. Its construction began in 1772 once the Society of Dissenters (now called the Circular Congregational Church) required more room than its Meeting Street location may offer. It had been nearly complete in 1776 once the Revolutionary War began, finally being repaired and formally dedicated in 1787.
