The Union Temple of borough may be a Reform house of worship set at seventeen japanese drive between Underhill Avenue and Plaza Street East within the Prospect Heights neighborhood of borough, big apple town, across the road from the borough library, the borough deposit, and also the borough biological science Gardens. The building was designed by Arnold Brunner and completed in 1929 because the community house for a planned temple adjacent, that was ne’er engineered thanks to the nice Depression; the 11-story building has been used for the congregation’s worship since, except, within the past, on High Holy Days, once the borough Academy of Music was used. In 1942, a theatre within the building was transformed to be a sanctuary.
