Umatilla may be a town in Umatilla County, Oregon, us. it’s named for the Umatilla watercourse, that enters the Columbia River on the facet of the town. The watercourse is known as once the Umatilla Tribe. the town is found on the side of the Columbia River, and is found on U.S. Route 730 and I-82. The Umatilla Chemical Depot, and also the Umatilla agent Disposal Facility, is found four miles (6 km) southwest of the town, northwest of the intersection of I-84 and I-82. The population was half-dozen,980 in 2011. Umatilla is an element of the Pendleton–Hermiston Micropolitan applied mathematics space.
