Ucluelet may be a district municipality (population regarding one,500) on the geographical region of island in British Columbia, Canada. Ucluelet means that “people of the safe harbour” within the autochthonal Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) language.
Ucluelet is found at the northern fringe of Barkley Sound, 288 kilometres northwest of the British Columbia urban center, Victoria, on the outer geographical region of island.
The nighest town is Port Alberni close to a hundred kilometer to the east. The District of Tofino is forty kilometer northwest of Ucluelet on road four.
