A visit to Tusayan repository provides a glimpse into Pueblo Indian life at Grand Canyon some 800 years past. Admission is free. This was a thriving community as illustrated by its pottery, arrowheads and alternative home artifacts.
The Tusayan repository is open daily from 9:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m., and is found three miles (5 km) west of Desert read.

The repository options a number of the initial two,000–4,000 year recent split-twig figurines. Typically they’re created within the form of ruminant or cimarron, generally with horns or antlers.
