The Tripoli Shrine Temple may be a Shriners temple placed within the Concordia neighborhood of urban center, Wisconsin. The building is predicated on the Taj Mahal in Bharat and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Tripoli Temple. It’s not a spiritual building.The Tripoli Shrine was supported in 1885 by nobles from the Medinah Temple in Chicago, a fraternal order that traces its lineage to a Masonic lodge established in 1843 by early settlers of urban center. This lodge later supported a dozen alternative lodges.Tripoli Temple was designed by architects Clas and Shepard in Moorish Revival vogue. Engineered at a price of $616,999.61, it formally opened on could fourteen, 1928 when over 2 years of construction. It had been the primary temple in Wisconsin, and was home to thirteen,000 Shriners within the space.The building is one among the most effective of samples of Moorish Revival design within the u.
