Travelers Rest could be a town in Greenville County, South Carolina, u. S.. It’s a part of the GreenvilleMauldinEasley Metropolitan applied mathematics space. “TR”, because the town is understood round the space, is simply north of Greenville. The name “Travelers Rest” came from the very fact that it’s set nearly directly against the border with the North Carolina mountains. Travelers would stop for an instant within the city, before they began the tough journey up into the mountains. Often, travelers would need to pay the winter there, looking ahead to the snow to clear within the mountains, before continued northward.
