Detail InformationEdit
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Trailokya Mohan Narayan Temple standing on a five-stage plinth was built in 1680 during the reign of Prithvibendra Malla. It features a three-level roof with Vedic Hindu figurines. There is a large Garuda statue kneeling with folded hands right in front of the Trailokya Mohan Narayan Temple. Garuda is considered to be the carrier bird of Lord Vishnu. The annual Indra Jatra Festival is celebrated with great pomp and glory featuring the Das Avatar dances representing the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
