Towle (formerly, Towles) is associate unorganised community in alluvium County, California. Towle is found on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Dutch Flat. It lies at associate elevation of 3694 feet (1126 m). The name honors St. George and Allen Towle, native lumbermen. The Towle post workplace operated from 1891 to 1935.
