Tioga (pronunciation: /tao/ ty-oh-g) could be a town in Williams County, ND within the us. The population was one,230 at the 2010 census. Tioga was supported in 1902 and named by settlers from Tioga, New York. The population of the town increased dramatically within the 1950s following the invention of oil nearby within the Williston Basin. in step with the us office, the town has a total space of one.4 sq. miles (3.6km2), of which, 1.3 square miles (3.4km2) of it’s land and zero.1 sq. miles (0.26km2) of it (5.76%) is water.
