Tillsonburg may be a city in Oxford County, Ontario, Canada. Tillsonburg may be a city of fourteen,822 situated regarding fifty kilometres southeast of London, on route three at the junction of route nineteen the nearest route to route 401 at Ingersoll, Ontario. Though the city population is listed as fourteen,822, the city may be a regional hub for business, industry, health care, education, agriculture, government and emergency services that serves a catchment/trade space of nearly 225,000 people.
The area was settled in 1825 by martyr Tillson and alternative immigrants from Massachusetts. A forge and sawmill were erected, roads designed that light-emitting diode to the institution of this little community referred to as Dereham Forge. In 1836 the village was renamed Tillsonburg in honour of its founder.
