The city of Thornton may be a self-government Municipality in Adams and Weld counties within the U.S. State of Colorado and a residential area of the Denver-Aurora-Broomfield, CO Metropolitan applied mathematics space. Thornton is ten miles (16km) northeast of the state’s capital, Denver.
