Thomas University could be a four-year co-ed personal university set in Thomasville, Georgia, u. S.. Thomas University offers students associate, bachelor, and master’s degrees. Thomas University provides education to ancient and non-traditional students. There’s an instructional stress on skilled career development, with undergrad and graduate programs in business, criminal justice, education, and health and human services, also as within the arts and sciences. The most building and grounds were originally some of Birdwood Plantation, the winter house of W. Cameron Forbes, U.S. Ambassador to Japan and governor of the Philippines.The Primitive Baptists purchased the property in 1949 and hired Birdwood college in 1950. Categories began in 1954 with 9 students, and in 1956, 3 of those students became the primary graduates. In 1976, the Primitive Baptists relinquished management, and also the name was modified to Thomas County junior college. In 1979, the faculty became non-sectarian, private, and freelance. In 1986, the name was modified to Thomas faculty, and in 1988, the primary four-year degree was offered.
