Thetford Mines may be a city in south-central Quebec, Canada. It’s the seat of Les Appalaches Regional County Municipality. Thetford Mines was based in 1876 when the invention of huge amphibole deposits within the space, and also the town became a hub for one in all the World’s largest asbestos-producing regions.
In 2001 town expanded to its current boundaries, merging with Black Lake, Robertsonville, Pontbriand and Thetford-Sud. Thetford Mines is that the seat of the judicial district of Frontenac. Associate degree abundance of lakes and rivers offer many opportunities for outside gatherings and funky refreshment. A series of summer festivals raise the enjoyment of the season, with sporting events, concerts and fireworks.
