The Gothic House conjointly referred to as the toilet J. Brown home is Associate in Nursing historic house in Portland, Maine. Placed within the West End, it had been in-built 1845 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
The house was originally placed close to a mile to the east of the current location. Faced with demolition in 1971, it had been touched any down Spring Street and a vacation hostel building was created within the former location. It’s the best example of Gothic Revival design in ME. It’s a part of the Spring Street Historic District, conjointly listed on the National Register of Historic Properties.
