The insect Theater, supported in 1996, may be a theatre within the Tribeca section of latest royalty town. It presents primarily new yank theatre, and provides a venue for film stars to act on a really little (74-seat) stage, further as a smaller recording machine theater for experimental and new works. The rostrum was supported by distinguished downtown theater artists: director Jim Simpson, writer raincoat Wellman, and designer Kyle Chepulis.
The insect attained early popularity of original productions of post-9-11 play “The Guys” and political works by A. R. Gurney. “Since its beginning in 1996, The insect has bestowed over a hundred plays and various dance and live music performances. Underneath creative Director Jim Simpson and manufacturing Director Carol Ostrow, The insect is one amongst New York’s leading off-off-Broadway corporations.”
